Get to Know Our Guesthouse
The Guest Farm Otjohotozu is located on the northern edge of the Erongo Mountains right on the river Omaruru. The tranquil town of Omaruru, the artist town of Namibia, is 20 km away. Otjohotozu lies within one of the largest privately organized nature reserves in Namibia, which consists of over 150,000 hectares without fences.
The Guest Farm Otjohotozu, which translated means "place of silence", offers an extraordinary recreational value. Here you can “let your mind wander” and spend a few days in peace. There are plenty of excursions that can be organized and visited when you stay with us, such as:
The Living Museum of the San People
A discovery trip into the Erongo Mountains to see rock paintings and engravings
Visiting wineries in Omaruru
...or simply go on walks around the farm.
Our guest farm offers 6 double rooms in different categories:
4 panorama rooms with a wonderful view and luxurious furnishings
2 double rooms, the tower rooms, under a cozy thatched roof in an African atmosphere
1 family house, which offers enough space for families up to 5 people in 2 bedrooms, with 1 shared bathroom
Additionally, we have two single rooms in the old part of the farm house in case of guided tours or limited capacity.
We offer you a quiet and relaxing stay. For the very sporty guests, we also have a real "Namibian tennis court" onsite, which requires special skill level as you'll play on sand and rocks ;)
